Great news! Andy Street has won the Mayoral Elections for the West Midlands. We in the West Midlands are now safe from the perils of a Labour Mayor.
If the people (who can vote) had voted Sion Simon in, the West Midlands would have headed for a period of uncertainty, with our local economy and local communities being torn apart.
What I am hoping, is that this victory for Andy Street shows the West Midlands that Labour are useless and that, locally, the Conservatives are better as they actually get things done. Even though I am too young to vote, these elections matter to me as I will be the one going into adulthood (later this year) with the consequences of these elections - so thank god Andy Street has won, as now I don't have to worry about struggling in the future!
